Annapurna Base Camp trekking is a popular trekking route in the World in Nepal. Nepal is a small and Mountainous Country in the World. The world’s 8 highest Peaks are in Nepal Mount Everest at 8848.86m, Kanchanjunga at 8586m, Lhotse at 8516m, Makalu at 8481m, Cho Oyu at 8188m, Manasalu at 8156m, Nanga Parbat 8126m and Annapurna  8091m from the Sea Level.

Annapurna Base Camp lies in the Gandaki Province of Nepal. This province has many highest peaks like Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri Range, Annapurna South(7219m), Annapurna North, Gangapurna, Himchuli, etc. In this Province, I found so many beautiful trekking such as Annapurna Base Camp, Gorepani Poonhill Trek, Mardi Himal Trek, Khopra Trek, Royal Trek, Jomsom Muktinath Trek, Upper Mustang Trek etc.

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking we can do 2 way via Poonhill or Short cut way from Ghandruk. We can finish 7 days Short cut path but this way trekkers have to face high altitude problems. I advise trekkers to do longer treks via Poonhill Way. This trek is rich in Culture, Wildlife, Flora, and fauna with the must spectacular and close view of the Annapurna, Machhapurche, Himchuli, and Dhaulagiri ranges.

In the Spring time, We can find many different beautiful Flowers including the National Flower of Nepal Rhododendron, and Orchids and the deepest gorge Kali Gandaki accompanies you during this trek

Trip Highlights

  • Hot Spring
  • Best view/Close view of Annapurna ,Machhapuchhre and Dhaulagari
  • Museum(In Ghandruk)
  • Flora and Fauna
  • The deepest Gorge Kali Gandaki

The Best Time :

Autumn and Spring are the best Seasons for this trekking, In this time we can see clear and blue sky. The  Moonsoon time is not suitable for this trekking time Landslide/slippery way, leeches, the dark and cloudy weather, and continued rain make the trip not fruitful.
