Day 1: Pokhara to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga: 

It is recommended that you will need to start very early in the morning because, after finalising your formalities related to the trek at Nayapul, it is a six to seven hours walk up to Tikhedhunga. Pokhara to Nayapul ( for 1. 5 hours by car)  and start the hike to Tikhedhunga (1,540 meters).  Duration: On average it is 4-5 hours of trekking. 

Day 2: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani Trek:

 It was a beautiful and easy walk through the forests up to the Sirisu Chautara afternoon We passed through small streams and many beautiful waterfalls. Trek through Ulleri and Banthanti Trek back to Tadapani (2,490 meters) then to Ghorapani (2,860 meters).  Duration: it may take 6-7 hours to trek. Today we start early and trek to Poon Hill which is nearby and then treks to Tadapani, in between we have our breakfast and food breaks 

Day 3: Hiking to Poon Hill: 

Early in the morning hiking to Poonhill to witness sunrise. we went back to Ghorepani and do breakfast and then Trek to Tadapani which is at an elevation of 2,630 meters. Duration: 5-6 hours for the trekking for all the travel during the day. 

Day 4: Jeep ride from Tadapani to Ghandruk on the trek where we can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and with the locals. 

 5 Day : Trek for 6/7 hours through the forest to reach Ghandruk at 1,940 meters. 

  •  Tour Ghandruk an Indigenous Gurung village 
  •  Duration: Trekking may last an entire day which is approximately between 4- 5 hours. 

 Day 6: Ghandruk to Nayapul and Drive back to Pokhara  

  •  Trek down to Nayapul 
  •  Drive back to Pokhara 
  •  Duration: This will involve at most 4-5 hours trekking. 

Best Time to Ghorepani Poon Hill trek 

The most recommended time to go for the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is in the early spring (March-May) and late autumn (Sept. – Nov. ). These are the times when the day is usually headache, and the visibility for the mountains is possibly the best.
